Day 3: Leaving for Nassau and "Sacrifice" at the Cave

Hi Family & Friends of the(crucible)
We had a morning study at the cave, where most part of the journey is pitch dark with tons of unlevel ground, and had a bible study on "Sacrifice." Obey, Surrender, Counting the Cost, and offering God a Sacrifice of obedience. Lots to chew on for the students.

What is symbolic too is that our Christian walk is much like traversing through the cave. Pitfalls or holes in the ground, the darkness, much like a life that we are denying and walking towards the like. The students are really challenged to "name" those holes in their own lives, and know that they will be there throughout their journey with God, but they can choose on having His Light to traverse through it, with Him.

Lastly, we are leaving for Nassau tonight and spending New Year Eve's at the Lowe's tonight. So that's all for now.

God Bless, christabel

Dear all:
This is Alex's mom. I am so thankful that you guys arrived safely and are doing well. I have been praying for you to minister to as many lives as possible. As I read your updates I cry just seeing how faithful God is. I trust you all will continue to touch people's lives and have some incredible encounters with the Lord. God Bless you all and tell Alex I love her and I continue to pray for the whole team. THank you to the leaders for allowing our children to partake of such a life changing experience. God bless you all and a very Happy New Year in Jesus!

HAPPY NEW YEAR "TEAM"!
We are thrilled to know that God is working in all of you, and through all of you in the ministry and work you are doing not only helping others, but in learning to walk so closely to Him through everything you do. Have a Wonderful time with Pastor Chet and give him our Love as well. Thank you Garfield, John, and Bel for not only giving of your time to lead our students; but for showing them as well how to live more strongly in their walk with God, as you do by your examples.
We will lift you up in prayer as we say good bye to 2008 and usher in 2009. God Be with each of you as we celebrate this time of change through our Savior Jesus Christ!! Joy to the World! Happy 2009!

This is a message of encouragement from the Alegre’s family.

Guys: Please do not give up. Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart or difficult to accomplish, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for you. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things you see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things you can't see now will last forever. 2 Cor.4:16-18

ESTAMOS ORANDO MUCHO POR USTEDES QUE DIOS LOS BENDIGA

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
FELIZ ANO NUEVO!!!!
