Dear Friends and Family of the(crucible)
The Lowe's family throw us a feast to welcome the New Year. What a blessing and encouragement to know that our missionaries & their children are making "pig blankets", desserts, dips and salads to welcome us into their homes. What a gesture of hospitality and sincere love.
P Chet's message was from Isaiah 43:18-19: "Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the dessert."
He asked them about New Year's Goal, and things to put off and on for this year. The students were awfully honest with him, and he encouraged them, those things you want to put off, they are in the past. Know that the Lord is wanting to do something new in your life. Be aware of it. You guys know you just need to apply the knowledge and the conviction to your faith.
What a good New Year's Message.
