Day 5: Obstacle Course & Paint for Community Center Church + Atlantis

Dear Parents & Friends of the(Crucible)
After the morning exercises challenge in Eleuthra, our students were awaiting their next exercise day. They were being given an opportunity to do an obstacle-course challenge at 6.30am. Amongst the many obstacles, they had to climb up a rope ladder, and an obstacle (20 ft high) at the end. It was a very moving team experience when they complete it as a team.

The debrief was awesome;we saw individuality at first, we saw selfishness, we saw people giving all their strength to help other students, we saw people not using their gifts and talents to complete the course... all these to say, that is our CHRISTIAN LIFE. All of us live out those inabilities day in and out. We do we call on and how do we call on Him, needs to happen before we met with an obstacle.

We were also given the opportunity to assist a local church project at Community Center Church; painting a youth ministry chapel, a kitchen, and took down a wall. A lot of hard work, fun singing throughout the afternoon and all the labor was completed with a spirit of excellence.

In the evening, the students outdo themselves by staying up to prepare for their outreach on Saturday, to children at the Aids Camp.

To the "TEAM":
As you enter the final night of your Mission and embark on your trip back home; please know how proud we are of all of you. We pray the God will give you a safe trip back to your families and friends; and that the lives you touched and the work God has done through you and in your hearts will last the rest of your life.

Your son really stepped up to the challenges. You will find a diff. countenance, but each and everyone of the team had accepted their challenges and make observations about their weaknesses and strengths. He really stepped up as a leader for the commissioning service. Every student will get a copy of the video for a testimony of finishing the(crucible) like a good prepared soldier. Bel
